Advice Needed for Gaming Laptop - Vortex

Hi All!

I'm looking for a laptop mainly for gaming purposes with specs on High (Paradox, Bethesda, and blizzard games mostly, some Rimworld and Dark Souls as well). I'm also thinking in getting a VR set in the months to come.
I'm fairly a noob when it comes to hardware so I would really appreciate some advice :)
I have no issues regarding budget, (could even consider an Octane, but may be an overkill for my needs)

I read recently that Vortex is a good choice for gaming but I'm all hears!

I also have some questions I hope you could clarify:

1- How would a mobile RTX 2070 fair against new Gen VR sets?

2- What is the difference between the two Wireless options?
Should I go with GIGABIT LAN & WIRELESS INTEL® AC-9260 M.2 (1.73Gbps, 802.11AC) or GIGABIT LAN & KILLER™ WIRELESS-AC 1550 M.2 GAMING 802.11AC

3- Is there any advantage in going with 1TB SSD versus 2 500MB SDD?
Thinking on going 2 x 500MB to have a back up in case one has issues.

4- Any advice tips you can give me :)

Thank you in advance!

I'll have a go at 3)

Definitely 1 x 1TB is preferable.
Managing space between two smaller drives especially with potentially large game installs is a pest.
The chances of your SSD being the first thing to die in a laptop - or dying for many years - are pretty small.
If it did, replace it under warranty / with a new drive. Important data should be backed externally to the laptop up anyway.
2x500gb uses up twice as many storage slots, limiting future additions.

Makes sense :) Thank you Oussebon

Going for the 1TB SSD and the Intel Wireless (just read somewhere that it is better than the Killer one).

I've pretty much decided then and should make the purchase soon if no-one will recommend a better build/chassis.

Vortex is the only one in this kind of price range/ class with a gsync screen, as as long as you're happy with the chassis I'd say you're set.
