60hz/144hz Dual Monitor Setup

Hi guys I currently have an RX 5700XT GPU and using a 60Hz BENQ GL2250 HDMI Monitor. Planning on getting a 144hz with freesync and having a dual monitor display.

Will I run into any issues having my current monitor plugged in the HDMI in the GPU and the new 144Hz one plugged into the display port? (e.g. will there be stuttering or refresh rate capping issues?) Thanks.

No, will be fine. You need to be looking at a 1440p monitor to match the GPU, not 1080p, it's overpowered for 1080p.
